You CAN’T Be the Jack of All Trades and Be a Successful Entrepreneur!
I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “Jack of all trades, master of none.”
Well, if you’re finding that you’re feeling overwhelmed with all that you have to do to be successful in internet marketing, the problem may be that you’re trying to do everything yourself.
To make matters worse, you’re asking yourself, “Why am I working so hard and not making any money?”
How do you think the big-wig gurus are doing it? Well, let me tell you right now they are not sitting behind the computer screen for 18+ hours slaving over all the tasks that are needed to make an online business successful.
They know that to scale their Internet Marketing business to a profitable level, they will have to outsource at some point. Rather than lose focus by tending to the time-consuming, tedious things (which cannot be ignored), they train people to become proficient in these areas.
As a result, top earning marketers get to keep their minds on the big picture. Outsourcing is not a crutch that you can do without, but rather, a helping hand when you need it most.
My business started to take off when we did two things: focus on what I did best and hire the most competent people I could afford to do everything else.
Realistically speaking, this is not a possibility for most newbies. My advice is NOT to outsource until you at least know how to do everything yourself; otherwise you won’t be able to teach someone to handle the tasks you don’t want or need to do, and you won’t know if they’re doing it correctly.
As your online business takes off, take a portion of your earnings and invest it in people…talk about great ROI (return on investment)!! Our economy may be in the toilet right now, but investing in people to help grow your business is the best place to put your money right now.
My good friend and mentor Howie Schwartz often says that his greatest strength is outsourcing: he surrounds himself with the best in the world…the best copywriters, the best web designers, the best coders and programmers – and then the best project managers to manage everything. That leaves him to envision his next project and set the wheels in motion to make it all happen.
Most are not financially able to scale their efforts on that level, but you can start small…I always say, “Why spend a whole week tending to a $20 problem?” Decide today that you’re going to give up control on ONE task, however minor it may be, and let an expert handle it.

Like most of you trying to break into the network marketing/direct sales industry, I went the traditional MLM route, did enough cold calling to last me a life-time, became part of the NFL (No Friends Left) Club, and spent more money chasing leads than I did on my first year of college tuition.

I quickly realized this was NOT the way I wanted to spend the next 20 years of my life. I already had had successful careers as an investment broker and owner of a mortgage business…then the economy went into a tailspin and I found myself, like many of you, looking online for a way to supplement my income.
Although the MLM business I got involved with had a great product, I realized that I had to find a marketing system as well as some hard core training that would enable me to be “the pursued” and not the “pursuer”…and FAST.
Well, that system is here! When this business model was created, we weren’t even thinking of offering this to the entire industry…it was primarily to use ourselves.
But then we remembered those who had taken the time to mentor and train us. And we wanted to offer struggling entrepreneurs superb training in using a cutting edge system that will generate and funnel free leads…creating multiple streams of income…using “attraction marketing.”
When you do this business right, you don’t have to ask people to join your business…They ask you!

Getting that Entrepreneur Mindset: There’s No Magic Bullet
To be a successful entrepreneur, you have to have the entrepreneur mindset. That is to say, you need to condition your mind to stop thinking that what you’re doing is just a hobby. Instead, think of it as a career. What better way to do that than to start with some self-improvement?
Dabbling in network marketing is enough to “wet the beak”, as the saying goes, but in order to realize the full potential of any enterprise, you have to apply your full potential.
Invest in yourself…this is no hobby!
The key to success in almost anything is a lot of luck, backed with a lot of hard work. When opportunity knocks at your door, you don’t just let it in; you have to entertain it and give it your best shot. As they say, nothing worth winning is won by half measures.
TO BE A SUCCESS!
You are the asset whose worth will never depreciate in value. Whatever monetary investment you put into educating yourself will directly and immediately accrue on your value. You are also the only asset that will stay with you through it all because everything and everyone else is expendable.

You see, I didn’t get the best grades in school. And after taking “Music Theory” THREE TIMES in college and STILL not passing it, I changed my major to Business Administration.
And when I ventured into internet marketing, 20 years after success in corporate America, I knew NOTHING about online marketing! Honestly, I didn’t even know what a “url” or a “domain” was. Pitiful, huh?
But I was smart enough to know a few things that most people don’t…
I knew that I had to have certain skills to succeed, and so I took course after course and read everything I could get my hands on…and I don’t ever plan to stop learning and staying current with what’s new.
But here’s the one thing I NEVER did…
I never complained, I never whined, I never bitched, I never blamed anyone other than myself, and I NEVER gave up. I never accepted anything less than success.
If you want what I’ve got, you’ve got to be willing to do what I’ve done.
You’ve got to earn the right and pay your dues. There’s NO other way!!
