Be a Top Marketing Entrepreneur and Find a Way Around the Recession
Borrowed from the French language and first defined by Irish economist Richard Cantillon, an entrepreneur is “a person who takes it upon himself to capitalize, invest, and assume accountability for the creation and marketing of new goods or products.”
With the myriad of business institutions failing and falling all around, it might be time to “rage against the machine”, and take matters into your own hands.
So what does it take to be a top marketing entrepreneur?
It seems like a daunting challenge to be a top marketing entrepreneur these days with the recession and the tight market, but there will always be some need or new product that will have to be introduced or marketed to the public.
All you have to do is find it!
People who have become an overnight success are few and far between. It’s even rarer that these successes last; thus, the term “flash in the pan.” On any future venture, therefore, it is always best to build on a solid foundation – a fact that many serious entrepreneurs have taken to heart, which is why multilevel marketing (MLM) and network marketing are making their mark.
Most MLMs or network marketing enterprises require very little investment, money wise. The foundations of most networks are those nearest and dearest to you, which are – don’t fool yourself – not as easy as it sounds. The time needed to set it up is also minimal and quite flexible. It’s also very eco-friendly in most cases since transportation expenses are cut down. The plus side is that it benefits the manufacturer, the seller, and the consumer all at the same time.
Beware of buyer’s remorse…
If you see an MLM promising you big returns for “recruiting” rather than selling, this is a sign that it is probably a pyramid scheme, so steer clear of it. It’s called a pyramid because of the wide base (downline) and narrow top, and the focus is to widen that base so that the top could get more profits.
Beating the recession
The top marketing entrepreneur that you can be doesn’t wait around for an opportunity to knock on his door – he creates one!! It is true that finding a job in today’s market is not an easy task. And while it is easier than taking a risk with your own investments, it is not, however, nearly as rewarding.
In essence, finding just another “JOB” is the path of least resistance, and perhaps, a path that you are better off leaving.
If you’re committed to stop the juggling act and want to make your marketing business work for you instead of being a slave to your business, I can help.
Wishing you major health, wealth, and happiness!

Guru Fatigue: Finding the Right Mentor Doesn’t Have to Be a Nightmare!
If you are a novice in an enterprise like Internet marketing, it is a good idea to have someone show you the ropes – perhaps one of those successful entrepreneurs who knows what he or she is talking about.
But finding someone who is probably more successful in selling just the idea of success to you, as opposed to any actual, useful, and practical knowledge doesn’t really qualify as teaching.
Teacher, Teacher
“Those who can’t do, teach.” An adage that you have probably heard at some time, or another. This is a saying that can sometimes be true, although it does underestimate the complex skill needed to teach something to someone.
On the flip side of that coin is the idea that those who CAN do, CAN’T teach because knowing something inside your head and applying it to practical use, as well as being able to get someone else to do it as successfully as what you have are two very different things.
Grain of Salt
Like hawkers selling their wares, you have probably been bombarded with e-mails and ads about how to become a top earner. But before you take their word as gold (or alternatively click on the “delete all” button), here are a few tips to help you decide when to sit up and pay attention and when not to:
1. Look at your history with the so-called guru, and gauge your success with him. If you have no history, ask around and look for someone who does.
2. Find out what you do need to know, and determine if this guru seems like a credible source for that knowledge.
3. If the advertiser is more keen on selling you something, rather than concerned about the final outcome and how it could possibly affect you, that is a red flag. Of course, no guru can give you a 100 percent guarantee of success, but he should, at least, be able to tell you what the odds of you becoming one of them successful entrepreneurs are.
4. When you have found a teacher who is a good fit to what you need and what you can afford (that is to say, one who can explain things in ways that are useful to you), then he has earned your trust enough to build a relationship with him. There are, indeed, successful entrepreneurs out there who are definite keepers, so hold on to them when you do find them. Sooner or later, you will have earned yourself a passage to the exclusive successful entrepreneurs club.
If you’re committed to stop the juggling act and get serious about taking control of your future, I can help. I’m living proof that age doesn’t matter. If you’re a stay-at-home-mom who needs to help out at home or someone who has suddenly found yourself at the mercy of the recession and need financial security NOW…I can show you exactly how I’ve done it.
Wishing you major health, wealth, and happiness!
