I was just about to post this blog, hopeful that the bailout proposal finalized by Congress would pass the vote in the House…and this headline jumped out at me:
In a vote that literally shook the government, Wall Street, and markets around the world, the proposed emergency rescue for the nation’s financial system was defeated, leaving the Bush administration and both parties reeling as they try to pick up the pieces.

In contrast, McDonalds serves nearly 47 million customers daily. Billboards scream “I’m lovin’ it!” And Americans do…they buy McDonalds burgers and shakes whether or not the food is necessarily fresh, healthy, or even great-tasting.

The first two are HUGE and UNDEFINED groups of people who all have different goals, interests, and experiences…
Have you ever been told to “make a list of 100 people” or that “everyone is your prospect” only to find out…it just didn’t work?
Instead of “rejection marketing,” why not give “attraction marketing” a try?
Traditional, old-school MLM goes something like this: You work up enough courage to call family and friends…you enthusiastically go through your whole business presentation…just for them to tell you “thanks” but “no thanks.”
So you bravely try the “three foot rule” and approach ANYONE you happen to come across at the office Christmas party, the grocery story checkout line, or your children’s sporting events…blatant resistance from those folk.
By now you’ve had enough “cold calling” to last a lifetime…you’ve become a member of the NFL (No Friends Left) Club…and you’ve spent more money chasing leads than the cost of your first year of college tuition.

Serious Entrepreneurs NEVER quit! Of course, we have our moments when we are brain-dead from exhaustion.
But we get up and face the next day determined to make that next killer sale or rank #1 on Google.
Facing challenges head on with resolve and gusto is in the serious entrepreneur’s blood. Conquering the impossible is what we live and breathe for.
Most top marketing entrepreneurs have their rags-to-riches stories: from waiting tables to millionaire by the age of 28… from living on the streets to owning multiple homes.
And while all those stories are inspiring to hopeful entrepreneurs, the road to riches is a bit more “down and dirty.”
